HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The department was founded on 1 June 2004 by the order of the rector of the institute “Mining and mining electric mechanics” of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical faculty, which began its activity from September 1, 2004. .

The department began its work from September 2, 2004 under the guidance of docent Mutalov Abduhamid Mutalovich, who headed the department in 2004-2006. In accordance with the order of the rector of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute №1 / 150 dated July 9, 2008, the department “Mining and mining electromechanics” was divided into two special sub-departments: “Mining work ” and “Mining electromechanics”.

In 2006-2011 Anarbayev Sultan Akkulovich was headed department “Mining electromechanics” by the senior teacher.

In 2011, according to the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the specialty “Mining Electromechanics” was renamed to 5310700 “Electrotechnics, electromechanics, electrotechnologies” and later the department was renamed “Electrotechnics, electromechanics, electrotechnologies” . 5320200 – “Technology of machine-building, equipment and automation of machine-building industry” direction.

From 2006-2011, the department of “Mining Electromechanics” was headed by senior teacher Anarbaev Sultan Akkulovich.

From January, 2015 to August, 2017 the department “Electrical engineering, electromechanics and electrical technologies” Riyanova Galija Eleubaevna is the head.

In accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PP-3153 dated July 27, 2017, two divisions of “Electrotechnics, electromechanics, electrotechnology” were divided into two subdivisions: “Electrotechnical and electromechanical” and “Technology of machine-building”. The chair of “Electrotechnical and electromechanical” is headed by Ph.D. G.E.Raykhanova, the department of “Technology of machine-building” is headed by Ph.D. Baxodir Qurbanovich Tilabov is leading.

Nowadays there are 1 Ph.D., 3 associate professors, 4 senior teachers and 4 assistants in the department of “Technology of machine-building”. The chair has close relations with the mining industry. In particular, the chief specialists of JSC “AMMC” provide in-depth training on the basis of their work for the department. Professors and teachers of the department are working together and also help each others for solve problems.

In recent years, young cadres have been attracted to the chair and led by leading and qualified lecturers, teaching and methodological literature on different fields and directions. The department of “Technology of machine-building” actively participates in various national and international scientific-technical conferences organized by the Almalyk branch of Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. Currently, the department trains 272 bachelors in the directions of 5320200 “Technology of machine-building, equipment and automation of mechanical engineering” and 5320300 – “Technological machines and equipment”.
