Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Science and Technology of India open call to submit joint proposals for scientific-technical projects.

Joint scientific-technical projects will be supported within the scope of Cooperation Agreement between Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Science and Technology of India.

Higher education or Scientific-research institutes who want to propose a joint project must agree with Indian institutes to carry joint research as "project partners". Unilateral project applications are not accepted.

Projects, which received refusal of funding after evaluation from any side, will be excluded.

The call is open for following areas:

  1. Agriculture and Food Science and Technology;
  2. Engineering Sciences;
  3. Information and Communication Technology, Applied Mathematics and Data Science and Technology;
  4. Health and Medical Technology;
  5. Materials Sciences;
  6. Life Sciences and Biotechnology;
  7. Physics and Astrophysics;
  8. Energy, water, climate and natural resources.

Application Deadline: February 14, 2020, included

The duration of projects is 36 months at maximum.

Ministry of innovative development will allocate maximum 500 million sums for per project per year.

The results of the competition will be announced at official webpage of the Ministry of Innovative development on May 2020.
