In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II and the Day of Remembrance and Honor, as well as with the aim of educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, an “Open Doors Day” was organized in the military unit of the city of Almalyk.

Students of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Chemical Technology of the Almalyk branch of TSTU took part in the event. They got acquainted with the library, classrooms and sports halls of the military unit, and also played volleyball with soldiers. They received the necessary information from literature on military service.

In addition, within the framework of the “Meeting of Three Generations”, young people held discussions with the Hero of Uzbekistan S. Parmonov, the Chairman of the City Council “Nuroniy” M. Abdullaev, the veteran of labor B. Kosimov, lieutenant colonels Sh. Nishanov and V. Mikhailov.
