Dean of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Chemical Technology of the Almalyk branch of TSTU, Professor D. Mirkhamitova, led by teachers of the Department of Metallurgy, met with students living in the dormitory. The meeting discussed how youth, and especially student years, are the most important time for gaining knowledge, research, self-knowledge, the need not to waste time, and the importance of constant reading. During the conversation, students also made suggestions, and the dean presented books to the most active young people.
This meeting, organized within the framework of the “Department Days” project, included the department handing out food packages to each floor of the dormitory, as well as the announcement of a “Most Delicious Dish” competition among students. On this day, Associate Professor of the Department O. Boltayev, who was on duty at the dormitory, assessed the dishes prepared by the students and declared the team of female students the winner.
