In order to ensure the admission process to academic lyceums, scientific Olympiads are held among 9th grade students of comprehensive schools.

On May 6, the Academic Lyceum at the Almalyk branch of TSTU held the “Academic Lyceum Olympiad” in mathematics, English and physics. More than 100 9th-grade students from schools in the region took part in it.

Assistants of the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the Almalyk branch of TSTU Zh. Zhonkobilov, Sh. Kuchkarov and assistant of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities and Languages U. Aripova took part in assessing the knowledge of students at this Olympiad.
