Today, representatives of the Wuhan University of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Engineering named after. O.A. Turisova, Mining and Metallurgical Institute named after. Baikanurov of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Almalyk branch of TSTU. During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the educational processes, laboratories, as well as the museum at the faculties of Metallurgy and Chemical Technology, Mining.
At the beginning of the seminar, a meeting between the branch management, teaching staff and guests took place. A.U. Samadov thanked the guests for their visit and introduced them to the activities of the higher educational institution. Professors of the Wuhan University of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China Ma Guojun and Li Yawei provided information about the university, research work, and cooperation.
The teaching staff of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan also spoke about their specialties, noting that they are currently working in cooperation with the branch and are ready to exchange experience, while expanding relations precisely in those areas that correspond to their direction. After mutual discussions, the parties agreed to take cooperation to a new level. At the end of the meeting, foreign guests were presented with memorable gifts and branch certificates.
