A new procedure for strengthening social support in the field of education is being introduced in Uzbekistan.
From 1 June 2025, students from socially disadvantaged families (i.e. those in the “red” category) will be entitled to a scholarship in the amount of double the basic scholarship if they study with excellent marks.
Students wishing to take advantage of this benefit should contact the Department of Youth, Spirituality and Education; please submit an application to Office 110 of the main building of the branch.
Please note: Only students who are officially in the “red” category and who are achieving excellent grades in all subjects can apply.
Basis: subparagraph 4 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 8, 2025 No. PF-84 “On further improvement of the system of state social support for low-income families”.
