Today, first-year students of the faculty of Energy and mechanical engineering, faculty of Mining, and faculty of Metallurgy and chemical technology took part in an enlightenment hour on the topic “Our Eternal Cities.” The sessions were conducted by the deputy deans of the faculties — A. Abdullayev, B. Gaibnazarov, and B. Khabibullaev.
During the lesson, students received detailed information about the rich historical heritage of our country, the role of ancient and unique cities in the development of civilization, and their cultural and spiritual significance.
The deputy deans spoke about the place of eternal cities — Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Termez, and Tashkent — in world history and their contributions to the progress of humanity. Students actively participated in the session by asking questions and engaging in discussions.
