Industrial excursion to the hydroelectric power station

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Mechanical Engineering has concluded cooperation agreements with 6 enterprises and organizations to establish dual education.

In particular, yesterday, under the guidance of the head of the department, Associate Professor Sh. Raikhonov and Associate Professor M. Muminov, students of EEE groups 13-23 went on a practical excursion to the unitary enterprise Akhangaran HPP.

The students got acquainted with the newly commissioned and under construction micro hydroelectric power plants in the Akhangaron district and the city of Angren.

They also gained practical knowledge about modern electrical equipment, the operating principle of micro hydroelectric power plants, safety regulations and hydraulic structures.

During the excursion, the head of the Akhangaran hydroelectric power station I. Rakhmonov provided information about the planned small hydroelectric power stations in the Tashkent region. During the day, students received answers to their questions from engineering and technical personnel.
