The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation declares May 2025 as “Sports Month” in higher and professional educational institutions of the republic under the motto “Athlete is a defender of the Motherland!”

This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 30, 2020 PF-6099 “On the development of a healthy lifestyle and mass sports”.

During the month of sports, mass sports competitions among youth, competitions between paramilitary units, sports festivals and other events will be organized.

This month is intended to promote the formation of a young generation that is physically developed, spiritually mature and devoted to their homeland.

An athlete is a defender of the Motherland!
