The construction of a student dormitory of the Almalyk branch of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov was carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 9, 2021 No. 563. The student dormitory, built on the basis of public-private partnership, is designed for 500 places, the cost of the facility is 25 .9 billion soums.

Construction and repair work was carried out by the limited liability company “New-Brand-House”. Of these funds, 46.2% were realized through subsidies, 53.8% – at the expense of the entrepreneur’s own funds. The five-story building has 142 rooms, each of which can accommodate 3 students. The rooms are fully equipped with furniture for clothing and bedrooms, as well as bedding. The building has high-quality water supply, heating, lighting, and sewage systems.

In the process of implementation, work is underway in the lower part of the hostel building to organize sports clubs, karaoke rooms, etc., intended for meaningful leisure time for young people.

The conditions created for young people as a result of large-scale reforms carried out by the head of state serve as the basis for them to acquire in-depth knowledge and form qualified personnel.

The opening event of the student dormitory, which took place today, was attended by the branch staff, city khokim, sector heads, representatives of the Nuroniy city council and representatives of the media.
