QForm is a Russian software package for mathematical modeling and optimization of metal forming processes.
This year, the Republican stage of the 10th International Student Olympiad in Metal Forming Technologies (QForm) gathered 121 students from 53 universities across 17 countries (Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, Serbia, Romania, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Korea, Argentina, Brazil, Turkey, Iran).
We are proud to share that at the Olympiad held in April in Belarus, Sherali Suyunov, a student of the Almalyk branch of TSTU, won 1st place in the category “Hot Forging” and was awarded a QForm diploma and memorable gifts. A significant contribution to the students’ success in the international competition was made by Department Assistant Islam Kamilov.
We encourage the teaching staff and university employees to continue actively supporting student participation in international Olympiads.
