240 candidates registered for the city stage of the “Ulugbek Vorislari” competition, which took place yesterday, and after intense discussions, 5 of the 27 main contenders advanced to the regional stage.

Of the 10 students who participated from the Almalyk branch of TSTU, two – Yormatov Ozodbek Shermamat ugly and Imomnazarova Humorabonu Utkir kizi – won a ticket to the regional stage.

Representatives of the Almalyk branch of MISIS, as well as the head of the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the ATSU Faculty of Economics R. Mirzaakhmedov and assistant of the Department of Chemical Technology N. Anorboeva took part in the competition.
