An outstanding scientist in the field of metallurgy, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Soyib Abdurakhmanov turned 80 years old.
The Almalyk branch of the Tashkent State Technical University hosted the Republican scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Soyib Abdurakhmonov, an outstanding scientist in the field of metallurgy, doctor of technical sciences, professor.
The conference, dedicated to the topic “Current problems and solutions in the field of ore processing and metallurgy in Uzbekistan”, was attended by leading scientists and specialists in the field of mining metallurgy, colleagues, students and guests from neighboring countries.
The event was opened by the director of the Almalyk branch of the Tashkent State Technical University A. Samadov. In his speech, he spoke about the life, scientific and pedagogical activity of Soyib Abdurakhmonov, our contemporary, who achieved happiness, well-being and prosperity thanks to science, made a huge contribution to the development of metallurgy in the country, educated hundreds of students, and at his venerable age remains an active member of society.
