In connection with the International Day for Natural Disaster Risk Reduction, on October 13, employees of the Almalyk city department for emergency situations organized a seminar with the participation of faculty and students of the Almalyk branch of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov.
The participants of the seminar were informed of the contents of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 9, 2019 No. 754 “On improving the procedure for preparing the population for actions in emergency situations and in the field of civil protection.”
The work also noted that in the course of propaganda work it is necessary to ensure the serviceability of primary fire-fighting equipment, the openness of evacuation routes, providing citizens with access to electrical and gas equipment in accordance with the requirements of regulations, and compliance with fire and technical safety rules.
