At the Palace of Culture “Metallurg”, a “student oath” event was held for 1st year students, who entered the Almalyk branch of TSTU in the 2024-2025 academic year and joined the ranks of about 6,000 students. At the beginning of the program, graduate students performed artistic performances. In the production “The Jadids Don’t Die,” performed by 1st year students of the Faculty of Energy and Mechanical Engineering, the immortality of education and science was glorified. Students of the Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy and Chemical Technology presented wonderful songs.

Members of the “Kalkon” group, created in the branch, performed a marching song. Students of the 1st stage, who took the symbolic student oath, were awarded student certificates. The branch also presented memorable gifts to the student winners of sports competitions by the sports club “Turon”. Students who took part in sports tests of the level of physical fitness conducted among students of higher educational institutions of the republic and achieved the highest results were awarded special prizes from the Sports Department of the Tashkent region.
