TSTU AB student wins prize at republican checkers competition

The republican final stage of the checkers competition “Olympiad of Five Initiatives” has ended in the Khorezm region. In Urgench, as part of the “Olympiad of Five Initiatives”, the republican final checkers competition “League A” was held.

Young people from different regions of the republic, who had passed the selection to the final stage, competed in checkers. The head of the department for the development of mass sports of the Ministry of Sports presented the winners and prize-winners of the competition with diplomas, medals and valuable memorable gifts from the Ministry of Sports.

It is gratifying that at these competitions, Durdona Botirova, a student of group 9AS-21 TMO of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Mechanical Engineering of the Almalyk branch of TSTU, took the honorable 3rd place.
