“Uzmetkombinat” JSC is a large industrial enterprise with a production capacity of 1 million 26 thousand tons of rolled products per year. It also produces heat-insulating materials, ferroalloys, non-ferrous metal products, enamelware and other types of consumer goods.
Recently, the faculty and students of the Metallurgy Department of the Almalyk branch of TSTU visited Uzmetkombinat, where they got acquainted with the technological processes of production, as well as with new installations and equipment. In addition, they viewed the exhibits of the museum about the history of the plant.
