An excursion was organized for 2nd year students of the Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics and Electrical Technology program of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
As part of the cooperation agreement concluded between the faculty department and the Almalyk City Electric Grid Administration, 2nd year students visited this enterprise as part of a practical excursion.
During the excursion, engineers and technicians told the students in detail about the design of electrical equipment that ensures safety during operation and repair of electrical equipment, as well as the rules for its correct operation.
In addition, the students got acquainted with the work of the Shakhtyor substation, which supplies electricity to an important part of the city. The students talked to the company’s experts in a question-and-answer format and received answers to their questions.
